Pearls

Poem By Laila Ali Haid

The sea extended into my dreams

Shores kept wild with breathing patterns

Sincere lies in the tides of the nights

Pearls unkept from lives in distortion

The life losses in me, woe betide the sea

Boats tracking the hardships of the waters

Traces of a love in a swimming noon

Likeness to vast deaths of good people

The cold sheath unfurled by a dive into oblivion

The key lies within the sea bed and fetched corals sink.

Frozen

Poem by Laila Ali Haid

Frozen to laps around an eternal pull

The light shining on your blights render me seeing

The fraught glossing of the limelight in yesterday's chiming

A velvet in my likeness to the fray

In the candid affection we held up to love

In the chances of God who rents asunder the blue

I saw a face in the motioned winds of barley shaking

I wore the day sky at its noon peak

In the loftiness of delimited breaks

Was love in new shapes.

Crystals

Poem by Laila Ali Haid

Undying kept days of magnitude in bliss keeps me heavy

The light in your calm is mine for preparing

To keep you in my arms and sear into the hate

My eyes are blessed and squashed to know the meander

Shapes of lies keep me in thrilling abandonment to time

I am a lithe keeper of hope.

Swept

Poem by Laila Ali Haid

The guile to brush the opening of the day,

The swept in news concerning the lover's play,

The night seeking under bedsits in blues to fortnights of calm,

A whistling of a heart so tender and dumb,

The rush to frantic hopes of enveloping changes,

Progression so far and few in the lies of the daytime,

Righting a hardship so foregone in the low feelings of this year,

I am swept by the moods so psychedelic,

The harder days here lark to me a song swept in eyes so tired.

Sunrise

Poem by Laila Ali Haid

The kind time in the noon,

The timid motion to the sunrise before the bottles are finished,

Hard days in the garment we sewed,

The brackets of equality downpouring from hope,

The hard shoes in the weeping likeness to time,

My rights are seen in the envelopes of named attempts,

For love in liberty,

For graceful sweeping fears in the brocaded sheaths,

Itself drawn down the back,

It is repeated in the days of bleak sunrises.

Scenes

Poem By Laila Ali Haid

Scenes that cull the fine hearts in tow

The rights in the primordial hoping to pushes of new

The clustered areas with green tapered to dry rot in the floors for dreams

The new tides of blinkered hatred and further grown lies

The chases to dawn in the nights in which lives are tapered

To debts and forlorn announcements

The scenes of gone lives

The love in the might of pity in church steeples

The graces in the ponds of the holiday times.

Longer

Poem by Laila Ali Haid

Long is the love in the fountains of joy,

Longer is the night in which prices of grain fall,

Questions in the shy falling hopes of the youth in days long,

Remedied with passing of lives in the years blinking,

The memories forbidden in the graces they promised,

Love in the shower of mercy in the fortitude of lives,

Longer is the penitence whilst leaning for salvation,

The tidings so daunting in presence,

And foretold sometimes before the light.
