Poem by Laila Ali Haid
Frozen to laps around an eternal pull
The light shining on your blights render me seeing
The fraught glossing of the limelight in yesterday's chiming
A velvet in my likeness to the fray
In the candid affection we held up to love
In the chances of God who rents asunder the blue
I saw a face in the motioned winds of barley shaking
I wore the day sky at its noon peak
In the loftiness of delimited breaks
Was love in new shapes.
