Poem by Laila Ali Haid
Likeness to contortions of balances in nights
Led into the fraught love of depth in symbols
The night casts us as fields of dew
The trodden days in which love dissapates
The likeness to untold graces in forbidden gates
The light spark onto the spine
The deed is in broken lives
Papers gloss in lanes of change
The night lost us in daybreaks to hidden courting
The likeness in newer times is the known epoch.
