Underpinning the sky drama
The Psalms, one Quran
shone on tears of doubt
Overdue carcasses in crashing time
the cascade of shade
and whimsy
on King David's throne
Christology's wreath
encircling Makkah
pirouette on mercy
leaking heaven -
"traditional ecstasy".
