Black lives matter

Take the warmest gaze and affront your worries,
for some, your happy face, their day - it sullies,
you feel comfort in the decor of your melanin,
today you decide to assert your pride against the skin terrorism.
de-contextualize, decolonize, de-mystify your existence,
the poetic burden of living as your person,
decodes the racist supremacy but leaves some motion,
to the two gates of decision:
returning to step one or utter freedom
Black lives matter we have you don't have the right to say otherwise,
But flailing against the evil laser streaks of your structural inequality,
I battle and return to the two decision gates.
